'Bout Becky

So break's been going well here :) I've gotten to see the Dana and all the girls from back home (Sadly, minus Sara). I've also kept busy with work! And pluggin through the Dawson's discs :) It's lovely :) So today, I have in store to go shopping (to return my duplicate presents....somehow I got many of those) and then it's laundry and cooking the ham and taters that I still have left :) Darla will join me and that will be lovely! OH YES! And I forgot to tell you how my weekend went! For Darla's birthday Saturday, we went to see the Midnight Matinee at the Fargo Theatre (like the Uptown Theatre) and saw The Wizard of Oz! Jeez! I think it's been awhile since I've seen it, but I still love it! I just understand it more now :)

What a great day! I think this has been the first day in a long set of days where I didn't have any school stuff to do or work! It has been the closest day to a Special Becky Day in awhile! I got to sleep in till 9:30! Then lounge around in the jammers and watch my soap! THEN, I got to go shopping and I am officially done shopping, wrapping....etc! Now, I'm just cooking (hamburger stew and graham cracker treats) and tomorrow I shall mail out the remaining packages and bake the remaining treats and I will be good to go! I will see a few of you on Saturday!! I miss you and good luck!

Yay! All my finals are done! All that's left is a paper and getting the competition boards done, which should be no problem :) I'm so excited! Only a couple more days till I get to go home! That and I can shop now!

After a long 2 weeks of studio and other various projects leaving me without fun time, I had fun this weekend :) Though I was supposed to be attacking the remaining homework and studying left to be done, Friday night I had a little get together with a mini keg and studio friends. Then Saturday, I watched movies all day, then worked till 11:30 and then went out for drinks with the ON crew! Now, I must really buckle down! The apartment's been cleaned, all the dishes are done, the stinky food from the fridge has been tossed, and the laundry's in the washer. I have no more excuses not to study....yet I blog! Oh well :) I love you all and hope you too are doing well!

Ok...so funny story of the day: So Becky goes into school early so she may finish up 2 more assignments that are due today. She's working, she's working, but the studio has lost it's internet! So she puts a floppy disk into the drive so she can email it elsewhere and when she goes to take out the disk....it gets stuck....so the moral of the story is I have the metal piece of a floppy stuck in my computer and the help desk won't take it out :(

The project is officially done! All the semester has left are exams and finishing up some odds and ends papers I've neglected for the past 2 weeks! I love you all and I'll be seeing you really really soon!

Notice the time? It is just about time to start another night without sleep....it's been almost 48 hours without any sleep and since the last time I got 3 hours of sleep! Sweet Dreams! SO TIRED!

Alright kiddies! In a mere 2 hours, it is quite possible I may be all snuggled up sleeping for the night! Keep your fingers crossed! Otherwise, I've gotten 8 hours of sleep in the past 4 days....and one was an all nighter.....EESH! So sleepy! Ok! Love you all!

I'm still awake! Becky=no sleep last night=really tired. On top of that, I've only gotten 8 hours of sleep in the 2 nights prior (I'd go back further, but my short term memory is not functioning at all)....dear lord! No more all nighters for awhile! must get some sleep!

Becky's Weekend To Do list (to be done from Friday night to Monday at 1pm):

Finish Community Development 110 page paper

Work 8-5 Saturday

Finish Part 3 of 4 for Sociology of the Great Plains (3-4 pages)

Finish axon and render for studio

Work 12-7 Sunday

Meet with Sociology of the Great Plains group at 7pm Sunday to do Part 4 of 4

Take 20 pictures of HVAC systems and label for ECS

Work 6am-11 Monday

Try and get a hold of the prison to get info to write paper

Ok Kids! It's Friday....I love Fridays! Not this one! It will be spent doing homework all the liv long day! No joke! But, with all my hopes in place, I will finish up all the work for my community development class, get part 3 of 4 done for Great Plains, speak with the prison lady, and work on more of my studio axon! Hope you all are still surviving, as I am trying to do....we're almost done!

SHOOT! I forgot to mention that I ALMOST saw a boy get run over by a car. It was scary....I screamed at him and he had to pull his hand back really fast as the car zoomed by (the car ran a red light and the boy, I don't think, saw the car coming). It was scary....very scary....so note to you all, don't run red lights and almost hit boys who aren't paying attention. The car didn't even honk! Didn't even slow down! DARN DRIVERS!!!

So I had a funky dream last night. Karen, Al and Erin were in it. We were all downtown Minneapolis looking at a parade (Erin took us cuz we were afraid we'd get lost) and we're waiting on this corner for it to start, and Britney Spears walks by.....we start chatting, but she's running late for her birthday party, so I quick yell "Happy Birthday Britney!" as she smiles and runs off. A few minutes later, a few cars pull up and start shooting. Erin wasn't there, I think she was wondering around somewhere (she didn't want to watch the parade) so Al, Karen and I dropped to the ground so we didn't get shot. Karen was a cop, so she and I started chasing after these cars in an effort to catch the bad guys. Al stayed behind cuz she was afraid they'd hurt her. So Karen and I find this apartment and we're chilling out and the guys don't recognize us (but there were more) so we left to the neighboring apartment so the other shooters wouldn't recognize us. There, we hid in a closet, people came in who were drinking (little Tommy was one of them) and were too distracted by drinking that we snuck out and ran away to get backup. About a block away, Karen stops cuz there's a shop window with mini things in it, and I have to force her to keep running for her life. What a dream! This is what I get for lack of sleep!!!

The weekend was wonderful! I must give a shout out to all my girls who made it wonderful! I'll take this time to share my weekend cuz it was WONDERFUL! Let's see...Wednesday night I got home and Al and Karen and Sara and Erin came over to hang out. It was lovely cuz I don't get to see much of any of them (and it was my only chance to see the Loftus! tear!). Then I slept, I was a tired girl :) Thanksgiving day, my family went up to Schafer to cousin Tom's place for dinner with him and Karen. I enjoyed it....Stef got to drink (despite dropping the first bottle of Bailey's in the snow, which we couldn't pull the dog away from!). It was cute! I had fun :) Then the Al came over to spend the night as we plotted our Day After Thanksgiving Shopping trip. I came to the conclusion that I needed nothing, but Al and Karen still wanted to "look around." We went to Old Navy first, and that was lovely. I enjoyed seeing Brenda....She's a grandma now!! Then we went to CRAZY Wal Mart and I proceded to lose my mind. ISH! Anyplace where you have to wait in line to park is not worth my time. I got cart rammed! We left that joint and I proceded home, where I relaxed until Jess, Karen, Al, and Erin were all ready to head downtown. Once downtown, we ate at the Hard Rock and I got my shot glass (BTW, it looks LOVELY along side the rest of my glasses) and then we went to see the Marshall Fields display which was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this year. It was cute and we didn't wait in much of a line, so I was content :) THEN, we got to see Mama Mia! WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL! I'd see it again in a heartbeat. Very cute :) Then the evening was over :( I had to say my goodbyes again and the next morning I was gone to set up Christmas and grocery shop. Sunday, I did homework and worked. Ish....I liked being home MUCH better :) Love you all and thanks for a good weekend!
